ERASMUS COMO VISITANTES EXPERTOS DEL 17 AL 19 DE ABRIL. 

Visita de las profesoras griegas Eleni Florianu y Athina Papadopoulou en el marco de la acreditación Erasmus.

Ambas profesoras realizaron talleres en la semana de la Ciencia. En el caso de Eleni, un concurso/taller relacionado con la ETIMOLOGÍA GRIEGA EN EL CAMPO CIENTÍFICO, en el caso de la profesora Athina, cuya especialidad es matemáticas, realizó un taller de neurociencia, basado en un problema de geometría.

Una experiencia única tuvieron la oportunidad de vivir dos educadoras de nuestra escuela, que fueron invitadas por una escuela en Toledo, España, para llevar a cabo enseñanzas ejemplares utilizando métodos innovadores con alumnos de secundaria. En particular, la directora del Evening Gymnasium L.T. Kalymnos, Athena Papadopoulou, matemática y candidata a doctorado en el campo de la neurociencia educativa, llevó a cabo una enseñanza centrada en el estudiante y colaborativa utilizando TIC con estudiantes orientados hacia la ciencia, sobre los mitos neurológicos más comunes relacionados con el funcionamiento del cerebro humano, mientras se evaluaban las posibilidades de respuestas erróneas del inteligencia artificial a través de un taller experiencial de geometría. Al mismo tiempo, la filóloga Eleni Floriano, con un posgrado en escritura creativa en la educación y miembro de la Red de Teatro en la Educación, realizó enseñanzas ejemplares con un enfoque experiencial y lúdico utilizando técnicas de teatro educativo sobre las palabras griegas encontradas en el idioma español, así como un taller teatral experiencial de análisis y profundización en "Ítaca" de Cavafis. La invitación fue realizada por la directora del instituto público de secundaria "I.E.S. Canada Real" de Toledo y la profesora de griego antiguo y latín Sonia Morales, en el marco del programa europeo Erasmus y específicamente de la posibilidad de "invitar a un experto", que se otorga a escuelas acreditadas, como la de Toledo. Las profesoras griegas tuvieron la oportunidad de conocer de cerca el sistema educativo español, enseñar (en inglés) a estudiantes hispanohablantes, mientras que la hospitalidad de los colegas españoles fue más que cálida. Uno de los momentos más conmovedores de la acción fue ver las lágrimas de emoción de la profesora española y algunas de sus alumnas cuando escucharon la recitación de "Ítaca" de Cavafis en griego, mientras se realizaba una lectura simultánea en español. Cabe destacar que los estudiantes de la dirección teórica en España asisten a clases de griego antiguo y cultura, mientras que las paredes del aula estaban llenas de imágenes y artesanías de los niños con aroma... de la antigua Grecia. La directora del Evening Gymnasium L.T. Kalymnos agradece sinceramente a la dirección y la asociación de profesores de la escuela española "I.E.S. Canada Real" por la invitación honorífica y la oportunidad que dieron a las profesoras del Evening de construir puentes de comunicación y colaboración con estudiantes y colegas hispanohablantes.

Both teachers held workshops during Science Week. In the case of Eleni, a competition/workshop related to GREEK ETYMOLOGY IN THE SCIENTIFIC FIELD, in the case of Professor Athina, whose specialty is mathematics, held a neuroscience workshop, based on a geometry problem.

Two educators from our school had the opportunity to experience a unique experience, who were invited by a school in Toledo, Spain, to carry out exemplary teaching using innovative methods with high school students. In particular, Evening Gymnasium director L.T. Kalymnos, Athena Papadopoulou, mathematician and PhD candidate in the field of educational neuroscience, conducted student-centered and collaborative teaching using ICT with science-oriented students, on the most common neurological myths related to brain functioning human, while the possibilities of erroneous responses from artificial intelligence were evaluated through an experiential geometry workshop. At the same time, the philologist Eleni Floriano, with a postgraduate degree in creative writing in education and member of the Theater in Education Network, carried out exemplary teachings with an experiential and playful approach using educational theater techniques on the Greek words found in the Spanish language, as well as an experiential theater workshop of analysis and deepening in "Ítaca" by Cavafy. The invitation was made by the director of the public secondary school "I.E.S. Canada Real" in Toledo and the ancient Greek and Latin teacher Sonia Morales, within the framework of the European Erasmus program and specifically the possibility of "inviting an expert", which is awarded to accredited schools, such as Toledo. The Greek teachers had the opportunity to get to know the Spanish educational system up close, teach (in English) Spanish-speaking students, while the hospitality of the Spanish colleagues was more than warm. One of the most moving moments of the action was seeing the tears of emotion of the Spanish teacher and some of her students when they heard the recitation of "Ithaca" by Cavafy in Greek, while a simultaneous reading was carried out in Spanish. It should be noted that the students of the theoretical direction in Spain attend classes on ancient Greek and culture, while the classroom walls were full of children's images and crafts with the aroma... of ancient Greece. Evening Gymnasium director L.T. Kalymnos sincerely thanks the management and the teachers' association of the Spanish school "I.E.S. Canada Real" for the honorary invitation and the opportunity they gave to the Evening teachers to build bridges of communication and collaboration with Spanish-speaking students and colleagues.

Μία μοναδική εμπειρία είχαν την ευκαιρία να ζήσουν δύο εκπαιδευτικοί του Εσπερινού Γυμνασίου Λ.Τ. Καλύμνου, που προσκλήθηκαν από σχολείο του Τολέδο της Ισπανίας, προκειμένου να πραγματοποιήσουν υποδειγματικές διδασκαλίες, με χρήση καινοτόμων μεθόδων, σε μαθητές λυκείου. Συγκεκριμένα, η διευθύντρια του Εσπερινού Γυμνασίου Λ.Τ. Καλύμνου,  Αθηνά Παπαδοπούλου, μαθηματικός και υποψήφια διδάκτωρ στον τομέα της εκπαιδευτικής νευροεπιστήμης, πραγματοποίησε μαθητοκεντρική- ομαδοσυνεργατική διδασκαλία με χρήση Τ.Π.Ε σε μαθητές θετικής κατεύθυνσης, πάνω στους πιο διαδεδομένους νευρομύθους, που αφορούν στη λειτουργία του ανθρώπινου εγκεφάλου, ενώ ελέγχθηκαν και αξιολογήθηκαν οι δυνατότητες λανθασμένης απάντησης της τεχνητής νοημοσύνης μέσα από ένα βιωματικό εργαστήριο γεωμετρίας. Παράλληλα, η φιλόλογος  Φλωριανού Ελένη, με μεταπτυχιακό δίπλωμα στη δημιουργική γραφή στην εκπαίδευση και μέλος του Δικτύου για το Θέατρο στην Εκπαίδευση, πραγματοποίησε υποδειγματικές διδασκαλίες με βιωματική-παιγνιώδη μάθηση και  χρήση τεχνικών εκπαιδευτικού δράματος σχετικά με τις ελληνικές λέξεις που συναντάμε στην ισπανική γλώσσα αλλά και βιωματικό, θεατρικό εργαστήριο ανάλυσης και εμβάθυνσης στην Καβαφική «Ιθάκη». Η πρόσκληση έγινε από την διευθύντρια του δημόσιου γυμνασίου-λυκείου “I.E.S. Canada Real” του Τολέδο και την καθηγήτρια της αρχαίας ελληνικής και  λατινικής γλώσσας Sonia Μorales, στα πλαίσια του ευρωπαϊκού προγράμματος Erasmus και συγκεκριμένα της δυνατότητας “invite an expert”, που δίνεται σε διαπιστευμένα σχολεία, όπως αυτό του Τολέδο. 

Οι Ελληνίδες καθηγήτριες είχαν την ευκαιρία να γνωρίσουν από κοντά το εκπαιδευτικό σύστημα της Ισπανίας, να διδάξουν (στην αγγλική) ισπανόφωνους μαθητές, ενώ η φιλοξενία των Ισπανών συναδέλφων υπήρξε κάτι παραπάνω από θερμή! Από τις πιο συγκινητικές στιγμές της δράσης ήταν τα δάκρυα συγκίνησης της Ισπανίδας καθηγήτριας και κάποιων μαθητριών της, όταν άκουσαν την απαγγελία της Καβαφικής «Ιθάκης» στην ελληνική γλώσσα, ενώ γινόταν παράλληλη ανάγνωση και στην ισπανική. Να σημειώσουμε ότι οι μαθητές της θεωρητικής κατεύθυνσης παρακολουθούν στην Ισπανία μαθήματα της αρχαίας ελληνικής γλώσσας και κουλτούρας, ενώ οι τοίχοι της σχολικής αίθουσας ήταν γεμάτοι με εικόνες και χειροποίητες κατασκευές των παιδιών με άρωμα… αρχαίας Ελλάδας.

 Η διευθύντρια του Εσπερινού Γυμνασίου Λ.Τ. Καλύμνου ευχαριστεί θερμά τη διεύθυνση και τον σύλλογο διδασκόντων του ισπανικού σχολείου “I.E.S. Canada Real” για την τιμητική πρόσκληση και την ευκαιρία που έδωσαν στις καθηγήτριες του Εσπερινού να δημιουργήσουν γέφυρες επικοινωνίας και συνεργασίας με ισπανόφωνους μαθητές και συναδέλφους.
